I don't see Marvin as a race baiter, I see him as a person who grew up with a very different reality than most of us, who is very over sensitive to racial issues and sees them in many cases where they are not. Roles being reversed, I might be exactly like him.

Yes he does have a strong racial bias, but then we do also. I said he would be a good mod, because he is very level headed and never blows his cork, even when people make comments like; you don't need to fear AR-15's because they are not the weapon of choice in the hood. which to me implies, because he is black he is somehow more akin to be a hood thug than we are, despite the fact he is well spoken, a veteran of many years of service to his country, and married to a woman too hot for him to be married to.
