My fiancé sent out the papers today.

He just called me and said he doesn't remember if he put the pictures of us in there.

We had a few pictures of us and with the family.

He said they where on his seat of the car with the papers. But they are not there anymore. Anyways, they might be in there. But like I said he is not sure.

Do we just wait for an RFE now?

Pictures are only secondary evidence. If your fiancé included another proof meeting in person within 2 years, you both shouldn't be worried too much. Just wait and see. My husband and I forgot to include copies of our biographical passports pages attached to visa stamps as a proof meeting in person at same place and same time. Some people here got RFE because of that. Luckily we did not get RFE and got approved in 38 days. Good luck!

If they are the picture of the petitioner and beneficiary that is to be submitted with the application, they will send the application back with the check unprocessed within a few weeks. Then you can submit the pictures that they need and refile. If they are proof that you had a face to face meeting, the beneficiary can bring that to the hearing. Pictures of you together aren't the ONLY acceptable proof of a face to face meeting. If other things indicate that there was a face to face meeting, no harm has been done.

Okay thanks everyone the passport pictures are in there. Picture of the stamps are in there. It's just the face to face meeting pictures.

We lived together for 9 months. That's in our papers too. I will hope for the best then.

This is incorrect. An I-129f petition will not be returned due to missing requirements. Applications are only rejected/returned if the check is incorrectly filled-out or if the petitioner is found to be ineligible to file. Definitely not due to missing passport pictures or evidence of relationship.

Agreed with what Girl from Celebes advised. Since pictures of meeting are not one of the primary requirements, some adjudicators won't look for this As long as there is sufficient proof of meeting such as passport stamps and flight boarding passes, then you might not even get RFE. For now, there is nothing you can do but to hope for the best. and yes, stop worrying and thinking too much. :)

Indeed. . Forgot to put correct amount of fees is one of a few reasons that USCIS sent back a petition. That's very common happened on VJ. But definitely not because forgot to include pictures as a proof of meeting in person within 2 years.

I really hope we wont get any trouble with this.

He's going home tonight to see if the pictures are there. If not, I hope they are in the papers. He says he just cannot remember putting them in there. Ugh, all the stress.

Thanks for the fast answers. Very much appreciated.

We received an RFE due to needing more evidence of our actual face-to-face meeting. We originally submitted 8 pictures, but we submitted another 20 for the RFE, which was approved shortly after. While they may be secondary evidence, they are important to some adjudicators.

Don't stress over RFE, just send in what they need. It does add some delay to the process though.

When he got home he looked everywhere and couldn't find the pictures anywhere.

So we are hoping that they are in the papers.

No way to know for sure now.

Don't worry. Get RFE is only slow the process. Not end it all. Hoping the best. Best guessing is that the pictures slipped between the papers.

So, he founds the pictures. Atleast we know it's not in there. And if they do ask for it. We will just send them what we have.
