Has anyone received an RFE letter from Texas? I'm now 12 weeks from NOA1 and waiting... Just wondering how long it has taken some of you to receive an RFE, and once received how much longer to get NOA2 once more info is received by TSC?

Thanks for any info you can share.

Hey,

I'm pretty positive only some cases receive an RFE, if there is insufficient evidence with your submission.
You (hopefully) will never receive an RFE and are just waiting for an NOA2.
My fiance and I have been waiting for 10 weeks since NOA1 and still no word on our NOA2 either from texas.

Mine took 2 weeks from RFE to NOA2, but it was a stupid mistake. I just forgot to check off the NO boxes on the IMBRA questions.

Is this a good guide as to how long yours will take? Probably not unless you did something similar.

Thanks for your response... hopefully you will get yours soon.

I guess I was looking for other Philippines folks to respond - most Philippines NOA2's are received pretty quick right now, even from TSC. My friend's was 20 days, and most are an avg. of about 5 weeks.

Looking at your timeline, it looks like you got your RFE in about 5 weeks - I've been waiting 12... ugh!!!

I wish they would just tell me what I did wrong, or what more info they need...

I appreciate all responses, but this is the Philippines regional discussion, so really looking for responses from others dealing with a Philippine K-1 petition and how long it was from NOA1 to an RFE letter.

Thanks much...

You mean you think the length of time that has passed is because you are from the P I ?

RFEs are a result of the case file not having the required info so they can adjudicate the case. Not all cases are issued RFEs.

Yes... right now Philippines are being expedited. The avg. is only 5 weeks at TSC and RFE's are usually about 3 to 4 weeks - when I look at the time lines. So, you can't compare it to other countries right now, anyway.

Where did you get the info that cases from the P I are being expedited?

All over the forums - plus look at the tables showing when people got their NOA1 and when they got their NOA2's - very quick compared to other countries - My friend sent his in around 2/6/2014 and got his NOA2 in 20 days - at TSC.

V J of course represents only a fraction of the total cases under review. However your findings indicate very quick response by TSC apparently. Why do you think your case has not proceeded at that pace?

We also had an rfe when we filed in tsc. A week after we sent the letter of intent to marry ( although we submitted it together with the 129f form) and other supporting docs, we then received an email stating that we got approved...

I did a search through Philippines members K-1 timelines, set the filter for TSC and not transferred. I could only find one member within your parameters, assuming you mean after the USCIS Typhoon Haiyan Humanitarian program started last November. Carl & Sam had an NOA1 of 3-14-14 and an RFE of 4-19-14. If it's any consolation, I did see a handful of Philippines members waiting longer than you for NOA2. One going back to November.
