Hello to all,

I am from Pakistan, an electrical engineer and currently doing job in Pakistan. My wife is Canadian citizen.

My sister lives in USA with her Husband. My brother in law's visa status is H1. and sister is living on advanced payroll visa.

I want to visit her in USA with my wife on tourist visa.

I have my own statement of around $12000.

My brother in law may also sponsor me with a letter of invitation.

I need to know how much strong are my chances to get that visa.?

Regards

Wife does not need a visa, you are in a better position than many.

Most if not all is on the application form including your job.

I assume it can not be that bad if you can afford to holiday in the US.

Hello Salar123. Welcome to VJ.

I have removed a number of posts hijacking other members' threads and given you a thread of your own, here.

Additional response from another thread has been added below.

So in order to get a tourist visa you have to prove to the US government that you have 'strong ties' to your home country. They will assume that your intention is to travel to the US to stay, and you have to prove that you have enough reason to return to your home country. Check the forums because I'm sure this has been extensively discussed. Also check the regional forums for your home country since there they may be able to give you better information.
