-Form I-130 with a check or money order of $420, make the check or money order payable to U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

- Form G-325a one for the petitioner and one for the beneficiary, both signature are required.

- one passport photo of each (one for the petitioner and one for the beneficiary) with a pencil write your full name in the back of the photo this is for both of you in each photo.

- A copy of your marriage certificate with a certified translation if the language is not English.

- evidence of your relationship such as pictures, and proofs such as joint bank account(letter from the bank or something) or anything that you have as "joint"

- if you are a U.S Citizen send a copy of your certificate of naturalization or a copy of your passport bio-data page, if you are a Green Card holder a copy of front/back of your green card.

- Before they use to asked for a birth certificate for the beneficiary but now they don't, later on you will need it but not for the I-130.

- if any of you have divorced, official document is require.

- only if you want you can complete G-1145 this form is to send you an email and a text message when USCIS receives your package, I suggest you to complete this form it only ask for your first and last name, email , phone number, so why not give it try!

Note: All I have written above was what I have sent and my application was accepted it is now under Initial Review and hopefully I expect my approval in less then 2 months. It takes about 5 months to get the approval and right now I have 3 months and 11 days to be exact since it was received by USCIS.

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”
