opinions please... passport expiration and K1 process

Timeline

I'm just looking for some opinions please.

Scenario......

Start K1 process in Nov 2014.

Beneficiary's Algerian passport will expire in Nov 2015

Question....

No, you don't need it. My husband and I started the process in August 2013 and my passport will be expire in January 2015. I had my visa on passport in January 2014. I think you still have plenty amount of time.

*Mailed I-751 package (06/21/2017) to CSC

*NOA-1 date (06/23/2017)

*NOA-1 received (06/28/2017)

*Check cashed (06/27/2017)

*Biometric Received (07/10/2017)

*Biometric Appointment (07/20/2017)

Timeline

The passport should be valid for at least 6 months at the time of entry in the United States.Taking into account it takes 3 to 4 months for approval and other one month for interview,I would suggest renewing the passport.However you can file the petition and get the passport renewed before the interview.
