VISA STILL STUCK AT Ready!!

Hello all we are so fustrated, it's been a month now and no visa issued and we didn't get a 221G, so what's the problem...I'm looking now to contact my Senator again..had to tell on USCIS, but why make me do that..I don't like to get people in trouble, but it's a shame that you can't get your stuff completed and done when you did everything that they asked...just issue the visa already...GEESH!!! I don't know what else to do..emailed them once, the case is under review!! What type of review? Should I email them again?

What kind of issues did you have at interview? Nothing you can do about being in review or AP thats how it is and no timeline. All you can do is keep asking embassy but they will grow tired of it.

Hey same here. Our status was stuck at ready for 2 weeks until yesterday 5-29-14 it changed back to AP. I hope that means someone is looking at our case. I am so ready for our case to update to ISSUED. Devy and Lynette it looks like our timeline is really close together. We should be getting our visa soon!!! Lets keep each other updated. Good luck!!!

That's the thing dwheels, we didn't have any issues, everything went very smoothly so I thought, well they are about to get tired, because this is ridiculous, I'm going to go ahead and contact my senator, she's a real lady that gets things done.

Thank you so much. We haven't emailed them as of yet. I was going to email them yesterday when I got off work but when I checked our case I see we had an update on the case. My fiance said wait another week then we will send them a email. I've been doing some research and seen that when your case moves from ready to AP then your visa should be issued very very soon. I really hoping that Is the case. This wait is so depressing so Im trying to look at the positive side of things. It very hard to do. Guess we wait and see!!

Congratulations! My son had his interview on the 25th on May. I guess we may be looking at a month before they return his passport with the visa. I don't understand why it would take them a month after they've done the necessary reviews of documents and approved the case.

Thank you so much. It took us so long because we had to wait for our medical results. Don't worry Your visa will be issued soon.

I feel the same way you do...my fiance had his interview on April 30th and still nothing.
