Egypt Birth Certificate and Police Report, is there only one kind?

There are a lot of country specific problems so I'm wondering if it is the same in Egypt. Some people are being check listed at NVC for sending in a short form of Birth Certificate and I'm wondering if those who have gone through this in Egypt know if there is only one kind of birth certificate or is there a long form of it? Also my husband is from upper Egypt about 6 hours from Cairo, does my husband get it from his city or does go to Cairo to get it? I hope someone from Egypt can help me and for others in the future. :)(F)(L)(F)

It's only one regular birth certificate sufficient for nvc, your husband can get it from his city, and he should certify it from foreign affairs.

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.
