Hello Friends;

I hope you all are doing good. My interview for K1 in US embassy Abu Dhabi is scheduled in June and this is the month when my fiancee and me were planning to spend vacation together. So is it possible that my fiancee (US citizen & Petitioner) can attend interview with me (benificiary) at the US embassy in Abu Dhabi? If yes then are there any positive and negative effects of it???

Um, unless specifically stated by the embassy, I think it would only be a benefit that the petitioner be there ... as a matter of fact, I would highly recommend it.

Apr 15,2014: NOA2 Notice Via USCIS Web Site

Apr 22, 2014: NOA2 Received In Postal Mail

Apr 28: 2014: NVC Received

Apr 30: 2014: NVC Left

May 09, 2014: Embassy Received

Jul 08, 2014: Interview - Approved - CEAC Status Ready

Jul 14 2014: CEAC updated but still READY Status

Jul 16 2014: CEAC Status changed to Administrative Processing

Mar 29 2016: Called NVC and found out today they scheduled interview

Apr 01 2016: Received Packet 4 notice via e-mail with interview date

Apr 25 2016: Children received P4 letters in the mail

May 19 2016: Interview

Jun 03 2016: Received Visas

Jul 06 2016: Travel to US

I don't know the 'official' answer to this question but my partner is coming with me!

We live in my home country though so i think it would be weird if she didn't come!!

Hello - it definitely depends by country embassy. Of course they can enter the embassy, but at my interview, they wouldn't let fiances enter the actual immigration visa interview room.

You will probably get your answer, if you post this in the UAE specific forums.

You will probably get your answer, if you post this in the UAE specific forums.

It should be depending on country's embassy and posting it on country portal is a good sugestion but i think it goes automatically to the specific country portal whenever you post something because your profile is liked to it and it displays everything that you post in that country portal...

It depends on the embassy, hell I wasn't even allowed inside let alone attend the interview. But, my then fiancee did tell the CO that I was outside waiting for her. I wouldn't have done it differently and was great to celebrate right after!

If you read towards the top of that page you will see that it is user-based information. i.e. last update, view previous entry, update/add information. :)
