Oh sorry, I didn't read your whole post. Well the only thing you could do is refresh the page once in a while and pray that someone will cancel their appointment so you can book yours.

If your priority date will end - no worries. When I went to my interview date my priority date was already past due but I was still accommodated.

Don't worry too much about the validity period stated on your NOA 2. As long as you have paid for your visa application fee and created an account online (at https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/), USEM will know that your application is very much active, and there's no need for you to request for any extension. From the current scenario, you might catch a July interview appointment, and if you're persistent enough, you might grab a cancelled appointment which just randomly pops-up. The USEM hotline wouldn't be of much help in setting an appointment since they will be looking at the same calendar as the online's, if there's any.

In the mean time, you can take this opportunity to make sure the required documents are ready by interview time: http://photos.state.gov/libraries/manila/325288/packets/K1%20and%20K2%20Interview%20Preparation%20Instructions%20-%20English%20_updated%2004%20Feb%202014_.pdf

Hope you get an appointment soon. Good luck.

1st don't worry about the petition validity, the embassy will automatically extend it up to a year automatically.

I would suggest you schedule the interview online (gives you better control, besides you will see the same calendar they see when you call the embassy), from within your profile you can watch for the random cancellations - these will show up on the left side of your "dashboard", most of the time there is nothing available as of late so that area will be blank... just persistent with checking the site.

The month of June was already released and all the openings were grabbed, everyone is waiting for July to be released now.

NO!!! For sure do not wait for "that" letter from the embassy, once you have your MNL # you can start everything.

Everything you need to know for completing the visa application is online.

Follow the flashing arrow below to the link with details ....

We are just on the same page now..unfortunately, no appointment date available yet.so, here I am crossing my fingers for any available one. I even called the embassy and was told that they can't even provide any estimate as to how soon they can have the July sched available...Hopefully we can set an appointment soon.

Hi. We did not wait for a letter from the embassy here in Manila. For some reason, they sent the letter to my fiance's address and not to me which took over a month for my fiance to find that letter in his mailbox.

Well here, I looked it up. This is what I downloaded and followed - you can find it here: http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3224.html

Make sure that the embassy has your packet though. Check CEAC status using your MNL case number here: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?eQs=o/iS8zDpeAKjMWCuebHqOw==

Pay the interview fee first before you schedule an appointment.
