So my fiance's interview is this Friday on the 23rd. I was wondering if anyone here could sample some of the questions they typically ask at a interview in London?

How and when did you meet

have you met any family members, who, ages etc

Why go to US and not here (UK)

have they been married before

Do they have any kids

What do they do (job)

Its all just stuff anyone in a relationship would know, pretty informal, done in 2 parts, first bit is going through paperwork that has been brought in, then wait, then the interview. about 10-15 mins for each part.

Good place to look is in the reviews people have written including myself.

The only two I remember are.

How did you meet? (they want more than just a few words)

and

When do you expect to travel?

The only other thing I remember was the " I am going to approve you at this time." and thinking was that it? No fireworks...

Best of luck on Friday..

Well obviously we are going to live in the US together because the rules aren't as stringent as moving to the UK. Not sure if that's the best answer to say though. Or we could just say because I work a good job and don't want to give it up.

They would ask about anything that arose in the medical.

Great, that makes me feel better. >_>

But QueenofBlades went to her medical with a past history of scars and depression and they didn't even mention anything about the medical at her interview. Plus he had a doctor's note just like she did. You think we are still going to get trouble for that?!?!

How did you guys meet, and When did you meet?

Have you ever lived anywhere bar the UK?

What does your fiancé do?

That was it.

As I was nervous I probably gave about a 2 minute answer in great detail for question 1. After that she just seemed to go through the motions by asking a couple of generic questions.

It's nothing to catch you out. Nor is it difficult questions to anyone in a genuine relationship.

Good luck to your fiancé.

Boiler is right, but if you have covered all your bases, jumped through the medical hoops and there nothing in the medical that can cause denial there will not be an issue.

There's a thread on that I bumped. First post lists a bunch of different ones. Then 3 pages of additional discussion.

My understanding is if you have an interview the medical is clear. Otherwise Knightsbridge would have called back. Proceed as normal.
