Hello everyone, I was wondering is there anyone who has done this a second time that can help me out? I did this once before and it was simpler because I was not married, before, now things are a little bit more complicated and I am looking for A little more guidance. Is there anyone out there that can help me?

So... are you married now?

If so, you're ineligible for a K-1. You need to file for a CR-1.

No I am not married, I have Been divorced since 2009

Ok. So your previous marriage, was that to someone you also petitioned who came here on a K-1? If so, you may receive extra scrutiny.

If not, just make sure you have paperwork showing that your divorce is complete and final.

Yes my ex wife came via K1 visa, the new form is different from the one I filed before and honestly I'm having trouble filling it out.

It's pretty straightforward.

What are you having trouble with?

I would write 'See attached' in the soace on the form and type out the question to be answered on a separate sheet of paper and attach that to the back of the form. Do that for each of the questions you don't have enough room to answer, on the same attached sheet.

I have actually applied for a K-1 visa for the second time. The first time was a Russian woman who after two years of marriage began to live with my friend just down the street while we were still married. I divorced her and have lived quietly alone since then. Over a year ago I met a woman who would make a very good life partner for our remaining years, needless to say we are both senior citizens. I used a lawyer to help with the application, he told me right or wrong, that because I had used the K-1 system before I needed to file some extra paper work which I did. Maybe this applies to you I truly don't know, I just thought I would mention it.

Absolutely do not cut and glue words onto the form. You can print it out blank and hand write in everything in black ink. Or you can write in "see attached" and write out your answers on a separate piece of paper. You should probably search online for instructions on filling out the forms. The USCIS website has a lot of helpful material. You just have to be willing to take the time to find it. Remember this is a "do it yourself" website. Members can help you and guide you in the right direction. But it is up to you in the end to get it done. Good luck!

You can fill in as much as you can on the e-form, print it out, then hand write the rest of it that won't fit on the computer. That is acceptable. Any additional information, you can attach additional sheet or sheets to the form. Hope that helps.
