a notice concerning the AOS

Hello,

They have received everything on 1/3/06.

I didn't include the medical and they asked for it.

After I sent it here's what I have online about the I-485, AOS:

On February 13, 2006, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 120 and 180 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case.

Does anyone know what they're talking about?

Does "a written decision on this case" mean the interview date?

Is it possible that they decide without the interview?

Thanks,

Anna

Ive just been through all that. Yes you will get a letter with your interview date (unless they need something else) and trust me mine took almost the whole 180 days. I just had my interview Feb 23 and including weekends I jsut got my PR card yesterday less than 12 days !!!! when you get the letter it will state the time and place for your interview, and it will have a checklist of things to bring with you. Be real prepared and have things organized so there easy to get when the person asks for such item. Good luck

Did your case get transferred to California (CSC)? If so you will probably get approved without an interview.

That is just the standard message they issue after you send in your response to the RFE. We got the same online msg after sending back the docs they had asked for in the RFE. It just means there is more waiting to come, unfortunately. Maybe not too much of a waiting for you, if you're one of the lucky ones! You never know with USCIS ...

If your case has already been transferred to CSC then yes, you *might* be approved without an interview eventually. But this message has nothing to do with that.

Best of luck to you.
