Received an email tonight. Its shipped to the nvc. Now its waiting time till shipped to the netherlands.

And no i wasnt calling the uscis. I was calling the NVC number. The line was busy all the time. Nothing to be confused about.

Finally!!! Congrats!

Yeah I just kept pressing redial when calling the NVC number, line was constantly busy, got through after about the 30th try. Nightmare. That's what it's like but don't give up, just keep pressing redial and you'll get through eventually.

Congrats on the new NOA2s & other updates. I hope every remaining March case gets approved soon. March is the last month that had no cases transferred to CSC. So it's a hard month for many people.

How many people are still waiting for their noa2? I'm just wondering when I should start to get worried..

I wouldn't start worrying until after it's been 6 months

We're still waiting with a NOA1 of March 21. I was able to find out from a Tier 2 officer our case was picked up by an officer on August 18. I found out from our congressman's office that it took a trip for "security checks" and was on its way back a week ago.

As my fiancé wisely pointed out, all of these efforts got information but none if them actually resulted in speeding up the process.

After 6 months, it's worth worrying and taking steps to move things along because the steps will be more effective.

Just thought I would share my first NVC experience. Waited on hold for 48 minutes, lady was extremely rude and barely wanted to talk to me (I called as soon as they opened) Was shipped to NVC on August 28th and she told me it takes 25 business days to arrive from USCIS and up to 30 business days of processing after it arrives. Where on earth are they shipping this too before it gets there? Around the world apparently.

Its not true. Didnt it take like 2 weeks max for shipping and 3 days for processing? I read that somewhere. But if its shipped to the NVC there no point in calling. They will ship it to the consulate and that case number wont do you anything except maybe help when you call.
