If she lived/worked abroad (outside the Philippines) for 12 months or more, she needs to obtain police clearance from that foreign country.

If she lived/worked in the Philippines her whole life, she only needs the NBI Clearance (the green one, for travel abroad).

If she lives nowhere else but the Philippines, regardless of how many times she moved/changed address as long as its within the Philippines, the NBI clearance is enough.

You don't need to get an Australian police clearance. Just the NBI clearance.

What the other poster meant is, some countries don't issue police clearances for persons who no longer reside in their country, for example in Saudi Arabia.

Thank u so much for your help guys at least my wife don't need to worry about it now.

My other concern is if I put the Australian address on her DS-260 since she lived there for 3 months would the NVC question her because on her I-130 we didn't put it since they only ask previous addresses longer than 6 months on I-130 form. Please please help us!

I stayed in Japan for almost 3 months back in 2002 but I didn't include that in the forms because it wasn't considered as actually residing there because I was on a tourist visa and just visiting.

The pre-screener at the US Embassy asked me if I worked or travelled in a foreign country and I just said yes and mention that I visited HK, Macau and Japan. She asked if I stayed there for 6 months or more and I just said no because I went there as a tourist. She made a note about it but didn't ask me to submit a police clearance. I just submitted the one from NBI.
