Questions about NOA1-vermont..dechiffering...

Scratching my head to understand why they are slow for the NOA2 in Vermont...So, I went da capo, from reading posts here...1 questions arises from the I-797C...it is said, briefly:

-Processing time etc

- Notice to all customers with a pending I-130 petition - etc

this is the part i question):

- If this receipt is for an I-484, or I-698 application, USCIS will schedule your biometrics appt etc - so my question is: this part is for those who AOS from inside the USafter a k-3 or k-1...and thus, not applicable to us (we are not at all at the bios stage)...and I am outside US, waiting and waiting...

1st question: does everybody receive the same stuff on their NOA1?is it standard?

CR-1, VT- Canada

I-130:

25 Aug 06 - Sent I-130 (a Friday)

28 Aug 06 - NOA1 & Certif. receipt returned ( a Monday) Day 1

29 Aug 06 - USCIS cashes check

30 Aug 06 - check cleared & 1ST TOUCH.

01 Sept 06 - NOA1 recvd by Mail

09 Sept 06 - 2ND TOUCH (a Saturday)

09 Mai 07 - NOA2 (2 e-mails)

Note: were told the long delay due to huge backlog and internal changes in VT

NVC :

04-June-07 - NVC generates DS-3032 & AOS bill

12-June-07 - AOS Bill payment sent/ alien receives DS-3032 form (by mail, dated 4th June)

13-June-07 - Alien sends back completed DS-3032 (by mail)/ rcvd 19th of June approx.

To mid July-07 - I-864 form sent completed and IV fee bill

19-July-07 NVC rcv I-864 form; mail signature rcvd.

22-Aug-07 Ds-230 with documents sent to NVC.

20-Sep - 07 Alien sends NVC Missing document. NVC receives it the 25th.

05-Oct - 07 NVC completed.

16-Jan - 08 Interview, 3 questions asked, visa approved same day, received 1week later approx.

Note: delay due to internal delay, missing document (not rfe) and self procrastination of understanding some abstract terms. C Post not at all reliable (delivery duration, delivery with signature (did not deliver personnaly), and delivery of interview letter rcvd after the interview).

In USA:

01-03-08 POE Entry in USA

...-03-08 2 Welcome in America letters and green card received.

I just checked our NOA1 and it says that too. As we didn't apply for one of those I-numbers, I didn't think about it anymore but I'm sure it is for AOS when you are already in the US.

Oh, and still no news here. No touches, nothing. But hubby comes here next week and stays for three. I know this means he can't reply to any visa letters but we haven't seen each other since July 2006 and I already know the visa will take forever so he is coming here no matter what.

08/22/2006 NOA1

08/26/2006 NOA1 letter received

09/09/2006 touched

05/06/2007 case transfered to CSC

05/08/2007 touched

05/11/2007 touched (says: case is now pending at CSC)

05/14/2007 touched again (i have to admit i'm surprised to see all those touches)

05/15/2007 touched again... it is starting to scare me!

05/18/2007 approval notive sent

05/21/2007 NOA2 (e-mail notification)

Oh, and still no news here. No touches, nothing.

Similar situation: neither news, nor touches.

niagara_falls there is nothing terrible if your hubby can't reply to any visa letters: your case forwarding from VSC to NVS will take minimum 2 weeks. NVC number will be assigned in a 1 week (as minimum) Agent choice letter (form DS-3032) you can send via email. As a result you have 4 weeks at your disposal. I hope you case will be approved as soon as possible. And our too.

knowledge our NOA1 says that too.

04/03/2007 NOA2 (7 months 1 week 3 days)

04/10/2007 NVC numbers assigned

05/03/2007 DS-3032 was sent via email . NVC didn't send it.

05/07/2007 received email that The NVC has received the ds-3032

05/08/2007 automated line changed the message.

05/12/2007 AOS& IV fee bills received

05/14/2007 AOS bill sent back to NVC. I-864 Package generated

05/30/2007 AOS package received

06/01/2007 IV fee bill sent to NVC

06/11/2007 DS-230package generated

07/05/2007 AOS sent to NVC

07/07/2007 DS-230 sent

07/19/2007 cheklist for AOS generated & sent

08/14/2007 cheklist received

09/07/2007 cheklist letter responce sent to NVC

09/18/2007 cheklist letter responce received at NVC

wow, another one in our boat! good to know that. maybe it is the same person working on our petitions since we have a NOA1 date that is so close and all got touched on Sept 9.

08/16/2006 I-130 sent

08/22/2006 NOA1

08/26/2006 NOA1 letter received

09/09/2006 touched
