Hello again,

todays question is, on the G-325A it asks for information on my fiances parents.

Her case is interesting in that her father divorced her mother when she was born, and her mother became a monk soon after and she was raised by her aunt.

Nobody knows information such as the fathers birthdate, she believes he is in HCMC still, but is not able to contact him.

I understand that the birthplace is optional (if known) but we are worried about the birthdate.

We would appreciate any insight on this.

Write the information you know, for the rest just write UNKNOWN. Not an issue.

Hello Friend,

I have a similar issue. Did you put "Unknown"? Also, did you explain why you put unknow?

Thanks!

Putting UNKNOWN is not an issue for the G-325A, and no explanation is needed.

Yes, people use Unknown when they do not know certain information, You do not need to explain why you do not know it. For instance, if you know a parent's name but none of their other info, then list their name and put Unknown for the rest. This is what many people have done in the past without issue.
