My wife s file was closed in NVC it s been 7 weeks and I did not receive the appointment yet?

Is that normal ? Do I have to call Casablanca embassy?

What do you mean "closed"? was it "case complete"?

if so, you should be calling NVC first until you get confirmation that your case was transferred to the Casablanca consulate.

you can also email the US consulate in Casablanca, they never answer the phone even if you call them.

Unless you requested a expedite your case is at NVC and will stay there until you are assigned a interview date. may interviews should be announce this week.

7 weeks for Morocco seems about right 1 to 3 month wait is normal.

Yes my case was completed in NVC.i called them they said as soon as we get an interview we will inform you.i also called Casablanca embassy they said we did nt receive UR file yet?sooooo confusing

Its not confusing because you are still at NVC and you will remain there until you get an interview. Only until you get an interview than your casefile will be shipped to embassy.

Hopefully this week May scheduling will start (I think tomorrow) they always start the last few days of the previous month.

I have another question are they working now on September 2013 for interviews? I mean those who filled last September they will go on this MAY for interviews?
