Military records

So this is probably a stupid question, apologies

My husband is currently active duty in the u.s army. We are aware that he will need to provide his military records but what exactly is this? I thought it was self explanatory but when I asked him for them he really didn't know what it was. Is it proof that he's currently in the military? Is it some kind or certificate? Whatever it is how would he go about obtaining it?

Actually it is a stupid question. Did some more research and realised military records is for me the beneficiary (if applicable) not him

His UA or S1 Shop will be able to provide him with the necessary documents.

Our timelines are veeeery similar and our husbands are both active duty and both deployed. lol. Did he send you everything to mail the AOS package? My husband did. what we did to prove that he is in the military besides the fact that it's pretty obvious from his W2 and his LES'S, we are going to send the photocopy of his ID.

Yes I have everything. I just forgot about the military records until yesterday so I guess not exactly everything. Will you be expediting your case at NVC as well?

No we won't because I have no way to get his deployment orders or I would have.

I have been able to talk him only once since he deployed and he told me the Internet sucks.

If you are still waiting when he gets back, you can still try for an expedite. I expedited my wife's visa after I got back from a deployment.

He is due back soon, well not soon soon but I assume we will be almost done with NVC when he is supposed to be back. I actually think we will be at the embassy stage already. We are waiting, well I am waiting, on my case number and IIN from NVC. It shouldn't take too long, plus his signed forms didn't arrive in Italy yet.

I have a question about the I134 affidavit of support, what address did u use on the form? the one from united states or the one where he is deployed? Did he mail u the documents, how did he do it?

I got my approved from the embassy to make my appointment, i have the i134 sign with his USA address but since he´s not there im afraid they ask me for one with his address in Afghanistan

No he's deployed they'll understand. He used his U.S address and he mailed me everything
