I had my interview for a K1 visa last March 26. I arrived at about 5AM and .there was a long line of people that early.I heard that's pretty normal. I was given my number and was able to be at the waiting area inside the embassy at around 8AM already. I had my fingerprints scanned at around 9AM. The first interview with a Filipino CO was at 10AM and the last interview with an American C0 at past 11AM. I was then called at the releasing window at almost 12noon.
The whole process was generally smooth and organized. The Filipino CO seemed nonchalant and simply asked the documents while asking basic questions about me and my fiance. The American CO was pretty cool and accommodating. One look at her and you'd know she loves her job. The questions she threw at me were simple and basic. As for the proof of relationship, she only asked for pictures and she asked for it while I was narrating our love story. The other documents were already given to the Filipino CO and she didn't ask for anything anymore apart from the pictures. She ended up saying "Well, I have no more questions for you!" and asked me to wait for my number to be called at the releasing area.
I've read a lot from this site and it helped me ease my nerves so I figured I needed to share my experience to be of help as well. So for those who are just about to have their interview, stay calm. I realized there really is no need to worry if you know what you're talking about. Be confident and speak with conviction. After all, you're only telling the truth and nothing but the truth, right? :)

It would be great if you added this to your timeline as a review of your visa process a the embassy, then it won't get lost in time and can be read by others scanning embassy reviews.

Congrats on your visa approval! :dancing:
