Hello friends,

I just received the I-797 which states my petition is approved. It staes that the app will be sent to the NVC and then on to Manila. Can anyone tell me what this bodes for timing?

My fiancee and I have a 2 month old child, so we also need a CRBA and a passport for him. My hope was to go to the Philippines to accompany my fiancee to Manila during her interview and come back to the states with her and the child. Travelling there , especially if I have to stay more than a month, is a hardship for me because I have a small business. Should I send her and our child to Manila (she's in Davao) as soon as possible, or try to get the CRBA and passport when we have an interview scheduled?

Thanks,

Mike

I posted info in your other posting for CRBA, and like said there hopefully others doing the process through USEM will chime in soon.

As for the petition processing through NVC, that can be a month or two. It has been taking 2-4 weeks (or more) just for NVC to get the petition from USCIS.

For the rest follow the flashing arrow.
