Hello

Me and my fiancee are currently filling out the petition and I am curious to what will happen after it has been approved. When do I need my medical records and police report? and when will my fiancee need all her financial and employment records?

Basically, what will be our next step?

I would say - after the approval you simply wait for the invitation for the interview - it will have all the information you need enclosed.

After the petition is approved, it its sent to NVC for the review. Then the case is sent to your local embassy.

The rest of the procedure you can check at your local US embassy website, because there is discrepancy in the procedures for different countries.

Look for for K-1 visa instructions there.

The process at the embassy is country specific to a degree - in what country are you processing the visa application?

Before the approval, I would just be patient. Your fiancee could start gathering the documents and financial aid paperwork, that should be sent with you and the copy of the entire package, but that is after the approval. Once you get the approval, the process varies a little bit depending on your country. Once the package is approved, your fiance will get an email that will be forwarded to you with instructions. You'll have to do a medical and for that you need your vaccination information.

The police report are for your interview.
