Is there a guarantee that it will move in October since its a new Fiscal year? There is no logical reason why it shouldn't right?

first of there is no guarantee. It may move but it will not go to the last date ( sep 2013), it can go couple of months forward if we are lucky. there is possiblity that it may further reterogress.

too much of negativity on this thread. Anyway, I had the patience to wait 5 years to be with my loved one.. so, another 1-2 years wait wont hurt.. Wether it may retrogress even more (2011?2010?2009?) as kalloo predicted.. it's okay. I can wait another 1,2,3 or 4 yrs for August 2013 PD to become current.

Well..i dont think it would retrogress further,,....coz if it has to regress....they might had done in July VB or probably will do within the next two bulletins......bus since it retrogressed in June VB...in July they stalled the date to May 2012.......so the chances r pretty less to go back further....yes...it can remain May 2012 upto Sep VB i.e end of this fiscal....

Now from Oct VB they will get a new quota...so they might advance but not rapidly.....i.e like 2-3 weeks ...then 4 weeks and then after first two quarters 4-5 weeks .....that will be acceptable to us.....I am telling coz of all the 4 categories...F2A has the largest amount in terms of Visa Numbers...so if it starts moving it will move at a pace of 3-4 weeks minimum.....then it might advance faster but that depends on applicant demand......but that is also good rather than having no movement...so i think Sep 2013 cut off date we might see by end of 2015 Fiscal or beginning of 2016 fiscal i.e Oct 2015 VB.........so lets hope for the best.....Good Luck to all my F2A fellows.....
