Hi,

Quick question - my fiance and I are doing some research on the I-129F application. We seem to have everything in order based on the requirements on the USCIS website as well as the instructions on this website, however we've found several websites stating that she (the beneficiary) will also need to include a copy of her birth certificate. Is this the case? I cannot find this requirement anywhere on this or USCIS's website, but we're really close to getting everything ready to file and I just want to make sure we get it right. Any help you could offer would be hugely appreciated.

Thanks,

Eoghan

The foreign fiance(e)'s birth certificate is not required until later for the K-1 visa interview. This is why it is not listed in the I-129F instructions or the guide here on VJ as something to include.
