Peil, use the search function and go tot he timelines and search for smilar timelines (Manila specifically) and you will get a better feel for the average time between the non-standards of the USCIS process. It differs per Service Center with CSC usually taking the longest and Vermont the fastest.

Also do the Foreign Embassy forum and look for the Manila Interview thread. It goes back for more than a year and loaded with all kinds of questions and answers. Good luck, Ken & Maria

Why couldnt you just say "it took us 3 weeks but you your time could vary" instead of that long winded speech about using the search function. You think i dont know there is a search function? I know there is a search function, its right there at the top of the screen. I am just lazy and would rather people answer my question than tell me to use the search function and i spend 20 or 30 minutes looking around. This way i can post my message and come back in an hour or so and see if it was answered. Much quicker for me. Imagine if every single user gave an answer like yours...there would be absolutely no information about anything. Just a website of people telling each other to use the search function or worse...telling each other to google the answer

Wow you are a beautiful human being arent you? No one here will tell you what YOUR wait will be, because they do not know. They will only give you their experiences. I am willing to bet with your more than honest response  and less than thankful comments towards my attempt to let you help yourself will lead to MANY replies to your LAZY questions. Good luck with the rest of your journey with this attitude. Ken

Hate to be the one to get involved, but Geez Piel! Ken_Maria was just trying to help and give you an answer that most people would be grateful for. This forum is so helpful and I am grateful to it for getting me through this process and helping me on my journey..You should be grateful too, grateful that you were listened to and that your question was answered by a helpful member, rather than snap and be ungrateful and unappreciative- try show a bit of gratitude, as well as respect!

I am hijacking this thread to have a moan about the NVC and how slow everything seems to run for me. I got my NOA2 back on Nov 29th and they STILL haven't received it apparently. How long does it take to stick the approval in the mail and send it to the NVC, they are killing me. My fiancee is crazy upset as she called them again and still no news, and I hate that every single tiny step seems to have massive gaps.

Anyone else out there stuck waiting for the NVC to get a bloody move on? :(

Ashp,

did your fiancee talked to a live operator? If it was the automated system, they'll always say they don't have the petition yet. We found out about our petition by emailing them.

Good luck

You CAN'T be serious. Imagine if every single user was like you and unable to do a simple thing like using a search function for your particular embassy? This message board would be filled with dbs!!

Ken_Maria gave the perfect advice for you. Well, the perfect advice would have been to tell you to do something with yourself, but barring that, follow Ken_Maria's advice, and you should find all the information you need.

Yep, she speaks to a live operator each time and we even doublechecked the NOA2 number so they could cross-reference, but they still apparently don't have it. I did factor in a delay for xmas, but honestly it's depressing to hear it can take up to 90 days! :(

Sorry to hear that...I hope they get it soon. (F)

To the OP, I wish you good luck on your searches from now on, because after such a <sarcasm>nice</sarcasm> response to Ken_Maria, that is pretty much all the help you'll get from people here
