Is there anyway you can just get it updated? My hubby has to update the address and add me as spouse. He took an appointment and they said he will get his passport back in 15 days (and that is with the verification for new address etc) if you are just adding hubby to the passport it should be faster and easier!

Otherwise, I agree that just state the truth, you haven't had time or whatever reason to add your hubby to the passport!

Try to get your spouse name added if possible. If not, be honest with them don't lie. Just tell them why you could not add him.

Always tell the truth and nothing but the truth. Long winded excuses arent generally helpful either.
