my fiance sent me his documents via fed ex.. it took 7 days. but i'm not from manila, i'm from Visayas region so maybe it took longer.

I would take reliability over speed.

We have used DNL and the yare awesome

You can track parcel on their web site -- just make sure you get waybill number

Also -- you can ship to one of their offices and have your party collect.

Thats waht we do -- it never gets lost and I can track it online even if they

dont notify receiving party

then for search terms try USPS, DHL, FEDEX, UPS

I used FedEx priority shipping (US to Manila), using FedEx document envelope. It was $69 for an envelope weighing 0.5 lbs.

My fiance received it in 4 days from the day I dropped it off (shipped from here Monday, he got it there Friday).

DHL is the most reliable if you need it there fast. This being said if it is being sent out of Manila, there are no reliable carriers.

The reason that I say this is that I sent the wrong proof of divorce. I sent what the Court had sent me, the signed order approving the divorce by the Judge. What was needed was a "Certificate of Divorce" that cost $10.

This held us up so I sent it DHL. It never got there. Lost--*poof*

On a good note, DHL refunded my money and I sent it again, but it cost us a few weeks of time.

The second one arrived in three days.

If urgency is required and you have a month or two, USPS is fine. It might get there in a week or five. The problem appears not to be the US Postal Service but rather what happens when it gets handed over to the Philippine Postal Service.

i do note a discount if you make a fedex account and pay online.

you can then print the label, and drop off all at a fedex place. for me (not a company account) , is usually 10 to 17 percent discount.

Best and fastest is for you to book an airline ticket and hand carry them to the PI--it is not the cheapest by far, but you control the out come plus you get to see your SO.
