To make a long story short my wife's vaccination record was marked "incomplete" from her medical exam last July. So we went to get her missing 3 vaccinations ( flu, chickenpox and Tdap) The problem is she can't have the Tdap vaccination because she had the TD back in July and needs more time between the vaccinations. The civil surgeon gave her a waiver for that vaccination for one year so I'm not sure what to expect next week at the interview? She did have another vaccination in 2010 but am not sure if it was the TD or Tdap? I suppose when we travel back to Russia to get her passport renewed she can go to her doctor and find out which one she had but not sure that would count anyway? So we might have to wait a year to finish her green card, I hope not but it looks like we really have no choice?

Good news is she got her EAD and AP card this week!:)

You only have to be as up to date as medically possible at your greencard interview. Since she can not medically have another Tdap by then, the shot is waived and she gets the greencard. For immigration purposes she doesn't ever need another shot. You will never prove immunizations to USCIS again. If she wants another shot for health reasons, she can get one. But for USCIS she is done.

You only need the first shot in a series. If you already have at least the first shot of TD, you are not required to get more shots for AOS. It is recommended that your shots are up to date, however it is not required.
