Help petitioner committed a crime after all the paperworks

Hi all!

Please guys help us out here I'm so confused and don't know what to do. We're on a k1 visa and we were done on the papers, USCIS, NVC stage and what not. But yesterday the petitioner was arrested for possesion of marijuana. The officers have found a small bag of weeds on his car. And he has been charge (not sure specifically). They confiscated his car and I think his drivers license too.

Will this messed up his going petition on me? Any advice would be highly appreciate. Thank you!

Even though his criminal record is just recent and it doesn't go on USCIS?

The problem may be is his unexcused absence from work could cost him his job. No job he would need a co sponsor ( if accepted )

He doesn't have a job. His a full time student and yes his parents are our co sponsor.

I would be interested to know if the U.S. Embassy Manila accepts your fiancé's co-sponsor. The Embassy doesn't always accept co-sponsors for K-1ers.

No he's an American. Yes I'm well aware that they may or may not accept co sponsors. But yeah I'm still hoping they would look into some other factors.
