Packet 3 confusion !?!?!?

Received the packet 3 in post today and it says to fill out DS 230 form and mail out DS-2001 form etc etc. I take it the us embassy still haven't updated there packet 3 letter yet or have I just got a different one?

NOA1 - APRIL 19th

RFE - SEPTEMBER 3rd

RFE REPLY - SEPTEMBER 11th

NOA2 - DECEMBER 20th 'approved'

NVC RECEIVED - JANUARY 9th

MEDICAL - JANUARY 24th

NVC LEFT - FEBRUARY 3rd

EMBASSY RECEIVED - FEBRUARY 7th

DS-160 and NOAR - FEBRUARY 7th

PACKET 4 - FEBRUARY 25th

INTERVIEW - MARCH 10th 'approved'

VISA ISSUED - MARCH 12th

VISA IN HAND - MARCH 17th

P.O.E (LAS VEGAS) - MARCH 18th

That is a bit odd, my letter talks about K1 completing DS-160 and I received it last week. Seems like someone is working through a stack of old paperwork?

My letter is dated at the bottom October 2013.

I-129F Sent : 2013-11-23

I-129F NOA1 : 2013-12-02

I-129F NOA2 : 2014-01-09

Pkt 3: 2014-02-04

DS160 completed: 2014-02-03

NOR submitted: 2014-02-12

Medical: 2014-03-07

Case updated: 2014-03-12 (presumably medical received at Embassy)

Pkt 4: 2014-03-26

Interview: 2014-04-11

POE: 2014-06-03

Married: 2014-08-22

AOS Filed: 2014-08-29

NOA: 2014-09-05

Biometrics: 2014-09-23

Nothing since then!

My letter is dated at the bottom October 2013.

The white paper says to go online etc and do what I have already done (DS-160) but the green checklist says to do the DS-230 and post the readiness form. Think they have not updated there checklist form yet or they have just sent me the old one. The white paper is dated 10 feb 2014 so will take what that says as gospel. As if this process wasn't confusing enough they then send the updated info along with the old info haha

Both my white letter and green instructions talk the DS160.

Its def a mistake on their part. What date is on the bottom of the green instructions? If any?

There is no date on the green page I received.

I think you got the old CR1 letter by mistake. You aren't the first. Or there was a very short 3 weeks where they had K visas doing DS-230. Nobody does that paper form anymore. It's DS-260 for married people and DS-160 for fiances.
