Helping a friend of mine. He went here in a fiance visa. His two kids are now here and would like to know what he needs to file for their adjustment of status. I told himn just to submit I-485 for both kids along with affidavit of support. But in this casedoes he check Part 2a or Part 2c? What is a K-2?

How did they enter?

Not quite sure but im guessing he came here in a fiance visa. Then got married and was able to get a greencard. Im stil waiting for his text. As for the kids he said they have an approved petition and he just need to file adjustment of status. Maybe kids came in tourist visa, then he filed for petition and petiotion got approved?

ok . He said he is now a conditional greencard holder. When he applied for his adjustment he thought the kids will be covered. So now he want s to apply for his kids. So just a I-485 and affidavit of support.

How did they enter?

saw my cousins friend last night. He entered as K1 in October of 2011 togethere with his two daughter k2. He got married and applied for hi adjustment of status. He only applied for him because he thought it will carry his daughter. So now he is removal of conditions. So can he still file for I485 fo his daughters? What does he need to file

Then yes, he needs to file an I-485 for each of them (plus an I-693 medical if it's been over a year since they had theirs performed, and if he's filing RoC now then that's very likely) to adjust their status from K-2 to LPR.
