NO STAMP

I hope I am posting this on correct forum topic. My mother in law was granted a tourist visa in Lima Peru. She entered the USA yesterday. However upon entry thru dallas she did not get a passport stamp, nor did she get any papers. Are they not giving I think its a i9 or i94 paper with stamp on it? Should we worry or contact someone? We are worried once she leaves, she may have trouble re-entering the USA since she has no stamp or proof of entry.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

She should be able to pull up her I-94 here: https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html

But They usually stamp foreign passports.

The I-94s are electronic now but they should have stamped her passport and indicated the date on the I-94 on the stamp. She might want to check with CBP to ensure everything is alright.

yes thank you guys, as of april 2013, they are now electronic. also no stamp on passport which they are no longer doing I guess. my last 2 re-entries into the US has no stamps, nor does my wife or kids.

I did print the I-94 from the cbp site..

but are you,wife,kids US citizens? Then they don't stamp. My assumption is they stamp foreign passports.

Yes they stamp foreign passports. They don't stamp US passports. So if she has a foreign passport and she isn't a US citizen, she still needs her passport stamped even though she won't be issued an I-94
