So I checked my immigration thing today and it says we got a RFE. We submitted so much evidence of our relationship though. I'm not sure what else to send other then phone records and christmas cards. Someone please help?

An RFE at this stage would not be about proof of a relationship, so it's something else. Your relationship is not vetted at this point.

Pay more money for what?? I guess it will cost you a tiny bit to post whatever they need back to them. If you've submitted lots of evidence then it'll probably be something like a misplaced form, of you forgot to answer a question etc. Try not to panic and remember to breathe!

Also how long will it take for them to go over it and approve it. Will there be extra time added to our time line because of this?

Thought i'd chip in here, I got an RFE but it was simply because my fiance was 1 week away from being 18 (I just turned 20), so her parents had to get an intent form from the courthouse, we actually just got her parents to hand write a note but hat wasn't enough, had to be an official letter from the courthouse, after that was submitted all was fine, no more RFEs and my interview is this coming thursday!

Well, yes, your file is now on hold until you respond to the RFE, at which point it will be picked up again. Usually after you respond to the RFE, a decision is made fairly quickly but obviously there's no guarantee of that and YMMV.

Dont worry you have I think 3 or 4 months to answer a rfe.

They answer as soon as you send the rfe.

My fiance got an intent to deny, that is worese because you have only one month to answer.

My fiance answered and the packet arrived 2 days before the month finish.

And we were approved

Also I hope they don't want a note from my parents verifying our relationship. My parents are totally unsupportive of the whole thing and would not do anything to help. However other family members and friends would write one. I am 23 and my fiance 29.

Nowhere is this needed. Honestly, you'll drive yourself crazy trying to second guess! If you want to do something constructive then maybe go through the copy of everything you sent and see if you missed any boxes on the forms (easy to do). If it's something simple like a misplaced form I'm afraid you'll just have to wait for the hard copy.

Why did he get an intent to deny?
