I just recieved a letter yesterday about a possible interview waiver. The letter also told us that the expected timeframe till getting my GC would be approx 6 months from now because they were running behind with processing the AOS applications. Did anyone in here recieve the same letter? I really hope it'll be less than 6 months, since that will be almost a year added together with the time we've already waited :(

We received the same letter this week. They must be really backed up for us to have to wait an additional 6 months! Hopefully, it won't be that long.

I am itching to call, but my mind is telling me "what's the use?"..... I do have my congressman on speed dial though.... My friend filed in Oklahoma since october and still doesnt have an interview date. The last he heard, his case was still at NBC like mine

I have a conditional job offer (waiting for the company to finish with the background check).

I spoke with my immigration attorney today and she says it's normal processing times (4 months since filing). If I don't have an interview date by the end of the month she'll put an inquiry on it.

Waiting is the theme to my life right now!

I spoke with my attorney today and she's putting an inquiry in. She said we should receive a letter indicating what the hold up is.

I'm assuming you didn't get one yet?

I have good news though, I start working tomorrow for my dream job! :D
