I have been tracking filers from other months pretty closely everyday and by the looks if it, the applications that were received by the USCIS between the 16th Jan to 23rd Jan are getting acceptances

Dont forget to give me complete details on your interview and what you took with you. I turned in everythign with my package including pictures. Will be taking more (a photobook), my passport, driver's license and all my letters from USCIS. Apart from that, I have nothing more to include (they already have bank statements, lease agreements, bills, credit cards etc)

I met with my attorney on Monday to prepare for the interview, and she said to bring in all originals (of everything we submitted), and everything extra (that happened after we filed). Also, because we filed before tax time, we need to bring my husband's 2013 W2, tax filing, last paystub, and a new letter from his employer showing he's stilled employed and his current salary.

10.18.2013 - Married!

02.14.2014 - Day 00 - AOS package sent (I-485, I-130, I-765, I-131)

02.18.2014 - Day 06 - Package received at uscis

02.24.2014 - Day 12 - NOA received

02.27.2014 - Day 15 - Apt for biometrics received

03.13.2014 - Day 29 - Biometrics apt

03.18.2014 - Day 34 - I-485 case status changed to "testing and interview"

04.25.2014 - Day 72 - I-765 APPROVED! case status changed to "card production"

04.25.2014 - Day 72 - I-131 APPROVED! case status changed to "post decision activity"

04.30.2014 - Day 77 - Notification of EAD in the mail.

05.02.2014 - Day 79 - EAD in hand!

09.10.2014 - Day 210 - Received interview date, scheduled for 10.14.2014

10.14.2014 - Day 234 - Interview at Dallas TX USCIS office

10.15.2014 - Day 235 - I-485 & I-130 APPROVED! status changed to "card production"

10.20.2014 - Day 240 - Received approval letters for I-485 & I-130

10.21.2014 - Day 241 - Notification received, green card is in the mail

10.23.2014 - Day 243 - Green card in hand!

10.06.2016 - Day 00 - Mailed I-751 & documents to California Service Center (corporate shipping UPS next day air)

10.07.2016 - Day 01 - Package received and signed for at 10am

10.12.2016 - Day 06 - Check cashed

10.14.2016 - Day 08 - NOA received, dated 10.07.2016

Arghhh now that I read the requirements again and realized they also asked for my hubby's birth certificate IN ADDITION TO his passport (evidence of US Citizenship). My hubby was born in the US but he misplaced his birth certificate and now it'll take forever to order it.

Macruff, you'll also need to bring your spouse's paystubs in the last 2 months!

08/07/2019: Biometrics 

01/22/2020: Interview scheduled

02/26/2020: Interview.

not all Americans have passports. But all should have birth certificates. I really do not think a passport is a criteria.

We used his passport to prove his USC when we filed the paperwork because we couldn't find his birth certificate. And we thought the passport would suffice for the interview (to show his USC), but apparently they also ask for birth certificate. I've just ordered it and am praying that it won't take too long to process.

oh okay. My wife does not have a passport (yet). We used her BC. Mine is by 10:15 am. Just printed out all our bank account(s) statements, her paystub from the military and asked her commander to draft us a letter of good standing. I will also be printing out my paystubs just in case.

Fellow Dallas filers, @tratsing, @vxb110530 and @macruff

I have crazy news!

As I mentioned before, my spouse is US military and is currently deployed. Our request for an expedite through the local congressman based on the fact that he is deployed has been approved! :dance:

And guess what? My interview is ALSO on October 14th! It is at 8AM!

Excited and nervous. Thank you for all your help.

I'll keep you posted about my process.

Oh and I don't have my husband's original BC or naturalization Cert (I only have copies) because he has it with him! :hehe: Lawyer says it should be fine.

07/31/2014 AOS packet including I485, I130, I131, 1765 fedexed by lawyer to Chicago Lockbox

08/01/2014 (Day 0) Package received at Chicago Lockbox

08/06/2014 (Day 5) Date of first NOA

08/10/2014 (Day 9) Received all 4 NOAs

08/18/2014 (Day 17) Received notice for Biometrics appointment on 08/26/2014

08/20/2014 (Day 19) Early biometrics walk in successful

08/29/2014 (Day 28) Case status for I485 changes to "testing and interview"

10/02/2014 (Day 62) EAD changed to card production, AP changed to post decision activity, Interview got expedited to October 14th, 2014 due to military reasons

I'm glad you pursued it, and this just confirms what I thought I saw.... Ladies (and me), Come October 31, 2014 we will all be Permanent Residents of the US. Congrats in advance
