I'm actully really happy about the update because it's a huge improvement from the 9+ months they initially had especially for places like Vermont, which now has the lowest processing time of all the offices. Thank God! And to think I dreaded the fact that I wasn't lucky enough to be sent to Texas...go figure. And at least now we can hold them to that 5 month mark if and when a service request is needed or required. Whether it's accurate or not, at least now it's official. Best news of the year so far for me! smile.png

that means they are currently processing petitions filed in August 2013.

No really!? (insert sarcasm) I meant in terms of their 5 month processing time and all...although some September, October, November and even December filers have had their petitions approved...oh well....time will tell...

I was coming to report the same thing. It's now showing 5 months, instead of the 8.5months.

Any change is always welcome. fingers crossed they update it soon as the 5months says effective as of 31st January 2014

Congratulations! Did you sign up on USCIS website for it? Or it is still part of the G 1145 form for E-Notification with I-130?

So happy for you. Hope ours will get approve soon also.. We are praying hard for it!
