AOS regarding retrieving I-94w, ESTA

Hi there,

I'm currently using the 130guide2 and I have a specific question regarding the Electronic Copy of I-94.

As I entered the U.S. with a valid ESTA application, am I right in thinking i don't have an electronic I-94 (or I-94w) to include with the AOS paperwork? I went to the site where you can retrieve the electronic copy and entered my details as a test, but it finds nothing. So right now I'm stressed as to:

Am I good with just ESTA and not worry about including an I-94(w) in my AOS paperwork; or

am I suppose to have an electronic I-94 whether or not I have ESTA and something is wrong on the site and it's not showing my entry? I was reading this link https://help.cbp.gov/app/answers/detail/a_id/1190 but I'm unsure if that means I'm suppose to have an electronic one or not.

Thanks for any help, I'm really worried on this.

You need to include a photocopy of your passport page showing your entry stamp the the USA. Its no problem its what I had to do, but I didn't ask first and to an RFE instead.

You may be able to find your electronic copy here: https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html using "WT" (waiver tourist) as the class of admission. Sometimes a VWP person can be found there, sometimes they can't. If you can, print out a copy and just include that; if you can't, use a copy of your passport stamp, as stated above.
