I think that there's three main situations where people need emotional support, advice or empathy on here.

1) Dealing with an extended time apart, especially when people have a really long process and have that feeling of helplessness and despair at seeing people who filed long after you getting processed before you. Can happen to K1 or CR1 filers.

2) Where the beneficiary has got to get used to leaving their friends and family for good and start a life in a whole new country. Has a huge emotional impact and applies to all visa types

3) Where the beneficiary or the USC (or both) have issues on adjusting to their new life together/each other. Anecdotally this seems a little more common in K1 visas but happens with CR1 filers too.

The third issue is covered by both the "Your New life in America" and "Family Changes" threads, but a new thread for the first two situations (there only needs to be one) would be a really good idea IMO.
