Hi,

Got my K1 Visa interview coming up in the London Embassy. On my form it says bring DS-260 but then it says DS-160 ONLY for K Visa applicants. Does that mean only k visa applicants bring DS-160 or does it mean k1 visa applicants bring only DS-160? I get different answers on different sites. PLEASE HELP!!!

  • So even though I'm going for a fiancé VISA I don't need to fill out a DS-260 in London?

No to DS-260. Browse this London guide for everything London you need to know. Their letters and website are sometimes confusing or the information is scattered about. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/474161-london-k1-a-complete-guide/

There are eight posts that take you from NOA2 to after the Interview.

The DS-160 took the place of all the other DS forms for K-1 applicants. Consulates do not request the DS-260 from K-1 applicants. Any consulate that used to ask for that form from a K-1 applicant stopped when they switched over the DS-160 being used across all consulates back in Oct. The Secretary of State sent out a memo to the consulates instructing them about the changes and to not accept the DS-260 for K visas.

You may not, under any circumstances, accept DS-260 Immigrant Visa Electronic Application forms for K visa applications.
