Hello VJers,

On January 2 I had my interview at the consulate in Vancouver. Unfortunately, our lawyer did not submit the I-134 Affidavit of Support. We received a letter 221g the day of my interview asking for the I-134 Affidavit of Support. My fiance and I sent one to them and it arrived on January 8th.

Ever since we submitted our I-134, our CEAC Status has always said "Ready", and our Case Creation date was in October.

Now, this is what my CEAC status said as of this morning:

**********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

Ready

Application ID or Case Number: Case Creation Date: 21-Jan-2014 Status Updated Date: 21-Jan-2014

Your case is open and ready for your interview, fingerprints, and required documents. If you have already had your interview, please check your status after two business days.

******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

I have already had my interview, therefore it says to check my status after 2 business days. Does this mean a formal decision has been made, and that I should see either an APPROVAL (it should be!) or a DENIAL (it better not be!)?

I don't think it means much. Mine has been at "Ready" since my husband went through the interview and has been the entire time they're processing his waiver. I wouldn't lend it too much credibility.

There are two kinds of READY!! After interview it usually changed to READY-AP-ISSUED.

Do not worry. You will be approved soon. They usually have all the info as your fiancé must have submitted the I134 in US while filling i129f. .
