hi guys

thank you to your great forum as it was very helpful for us.

as i came with K1 visa and im now filing my AOS, i was going to file the work authorization I-765, which is said here in the forum that as im filing it with the I-485 i will not be required to pay the $350 for it as i already paid ($985 + $85), is it correct?

plus there is a question about who may file and i was in between (A) (6) OR © (9). not sure.

as i already attached the passport copy and my pics with the main form I-485, do i still need to attach the passport copy for the form I-765?

Thank you guys!

have a great day.

Your filing fee with be $1070 ($985 + $85), if filing I131 and/or I765 in association with an I485 there is no fee whether they are submitted at the same time or later once the I485 is in process, the extra fees are if those forms are used for other reasons that don't apply here.

For the I765 you would qualify under 7A so you would place ( c ) ( 9 ) in the question that asks about that.

You need to attach the passport photos for each form that requires it, a guide to the entire process is here - http://www.visajourney.com/content/k1k3aos

I believe the A 6 is if you are requesting an EAD prior to adjusting your status, technically you could have filed an I765 before getting married to get an EAD that would have let you work until the date on your I94 but I don't see the point of that as it wouldn't be valid that long once it is processed.

Adjustment applicant - (c )(9 ). Filed with a pending I-485 the form fee is waived.

If you put (a )(6 ), they may send it back wanting the form fee.
