Good afternoon! Can someone tell me which forms he will have to fill out when flying to the US on a K1 visa, if any? As a USC, I'm familiar with the forms that we complete upon returning to the US after international travel and just wanted to know if he will have to complete a similar form.

Yes, your fiance will be given a Customs form to fill out. The same form you have to fill out when you return to the US.

Yep the same forms, and then one additional form for his I-94.

Ok thanks so much for your help. I want to give him a heads up as to what to expect.

No I-94 paper form to fill out. I-94 is now automated. You will get an admission stamp when entering and you print out your I-94 info from here > https://i94.cbp.dhs.gov/I94/request.html

Is this something that needs to be done in advance or after POE?

Go to that site to retrieve and print out your I-94 info after you are in the US. Use the printout of your I-94 info for getting an SSN and filing for AOS.
