Guys, anybody else received a biometrics appointment letter on a plain white paper? It has all the info and formatting it should, but it is not on the typical USCIS paper.

Mine was on regular paper, maybe they have to cut coststongue.png

As you guys know i sent my paperwork in on thursday by express mail. I have the automatic update from the post office so i got the email saying it was delivered and i thought ok it was delivered to the p.o.box so now i have to wait for someone to pick it up. i have been checking my email since i got up this morning and nothing so i decided to check the post office website and T CIOPPA signed for my paperwork since friday @ 12:28pm.. so it has begun. just praying this is a smooth ride but we all know when it comes to USCIS nothing is ever smooth.

I checked and my package was delivered on 01/24 but I noticed that I forgot/did not know I was supposed to send the E-Verification form to receive alerts on the cellphone, like we did with AOS.

So should I just wait for a letter on the mail?

I send form G-1145 and never received an e-mail or text message, I don't think it will be a problem.

So, you received the NOA in that short period of time? I`m shocked of how fast people are receiving those letters...

During my AOS process I received text messages and emails from the USCIS and it was very exciting, because I got screwed by the post office who returned my letters because there was no identification on my apto mail box...crying.gif

Now my mail box is full of stickers indication that`s my mail box, I put stickers with my name and address on the front, back and inside of the mail box, just to make sure...idea9dv.gif

I don't think they process the e-notification form with ROC applications anyway. That form says it can only be used when filing through a lockbox, which is not the case for ROC.

NOA1 comes pretty fast, don't worry, you should get it by the end of the week (depending where you live). But to be able to see your status online and set text alerts you need to wait for the biometrics letter, which seems to come within about a week after the NOA1 for most people.

Can someone please add me to the Vermont Center. I just mailed my application yesterday. I am a little behind so we shall see my GC expires March, 8 so I hope my NOA will help me to stay employed and get a driver's licence.

Nov 25,2011(Day 0) - Mailed I 130,I 485, I 765 and I 864
Nov 28,2011(Day 1) - Tracked on USPS and saw that it had been delivered
Dec 1, 2011(Day 4) - Received emails/texts that application was received on Nov 29th and an I 797 is on its way
Dec 1, 2011(Day 4) - Checks cashed
Dec 5, 2011(Day 8) - NOA1 Hard Copies received with Dec 1st as Notice Date
Dec 9, 2011(Day 12) - Biometrics Letter received for 12/22/201
Dec 16, 2011(Day 19) - Biometrics Walk in completed in less than 30 minutes
Jan 24, 2011(Day 58) - Received text/email about card EAD card production
Jan 28, 2011(Day 62) - Received text/email about card EAD card production again
Jan 30, 2011(Day 64) - Received text/email about card EAD card approval and has been mailed
Feb 01, 2012(Day 66) - Received EAD in the mail.
Feb 03, 2012(Day 68) - Received email and text about March 8th interview
Feb 04, 2012(Day 69) - Received interview letter in the mail.

Mar 13, 2012(Day 107) - Received congratulations letter in the mail and my name is spelt wrong so i have to deal with that now.

Feb 18, 2014(Day 14) Biometrics letter received for March 5th 2014

Feb 25, 2014(Day 21) Early Walk in for Biometrics

July 8th, 2014 ( Day 153 - I stopped counting) - RFE Received

Sep 19, 2014 (Day 225....) - RFE received - Deadline was Sep 21 (too close I know)

Oct 29, 2014 (Day 265..) Email that card was sent to production.

Citizenship

5/18/2015 - Mailed in N400

5/21/2015 - NOA

5/25/2015- Check Cashed

6/06/2015 - Biometrics letter received for June 19th, 2015

6/11/2015- Biometrics completed Walk in

6/15/2015 - In line for interview

08/21/2015 - interview date ( Interview done) Recommended for citizenship.

9/25/2015- Became a US citizen. All done with USCIS

10/28/2018 - Received my passport. *Done* Good Luck everyone

F-1, filed EAD for STEM OPT 17 months 2010-2011
+5/24/2010: USPS Express to Phoenix.
+5/26/2010: Delivered
+6/3/2010: NOA
+7/29/2010: Acceptance mailed! New EAD card.
AOS:
11/2/2011: Mailed USPS Priority to Chicago
11/4/2011: Package of I 130, 485, 131, 765 delivered~
11/9/2011: Text Messages - Confirmed all 4 applications were received with receipt #s.
Added 4 cases to portfolio on USCIS account. Enabled email and mobile alerts.
11/10/2011: All checks cashed, total $1490.
11/14/2011: All 4 NOAs received in the mail
11/17/2011: Biometrics Letter received in mail for Dec 8
11/18/2011: Biometrics done but 9/10 are rejected due to allergy.
11/25/2011: 2nd Biometrics letter received (send 11/23).
11/29/2011: 2nd Biometrics done but not all 10 are passed again. Hoping for the best =)
12/19/2011: Interview notice for Jan 27 at National Benefits Center (local office).
01/17/2012: EAD/AP Combo Card received.
01/27/2012: Interview done, lasts about 30 minutes but the wait is long - 1 hour. The interviewer approved us verbally, have to send in police clearance.
01/30/2012: Got police Clearance at local police station and mailed in.
02/06/2012: Card Production Ordered

01/16/2014: Receipt of I-751 Removing conditions
01/21/2014: NOA

02/10/2014: Biometrics

04/24/2014: Approval

05/01/2014: Card Received
