The more I try to understand why Palestinians hate Israel so much, the more I agree with palestinians and feel that the world and the UN conspired against Palestinians in 1948. Basically that they kicked palestinians from their lands and planted people from elsewhere and made them refugees in their own country. And changed the country's name from Palestine to Israel.

The world is really f'cked up if the world can can be so brazen to be unjust to one country. Well Iraq is going on and everyone now has accepted the injustice there.

You know what, people need to understand what the f is going on in the world.

The repercussions of political decisions made by countries that have no business making them are felt all over the world in a variety of ways. People do need to understand, but they also need to realize that 1) it's been going on a lot longer than just our current century and 2) it would take a shift in human behavior and pretty much an overhaul of the world (including social, economic, cultural, religious, etc.) to 'fix' all that has gone before and prevent similar to come in the future.

Was it fair of European nations to plunder and conquer Africa and Asia? Was it fair of the 'new world forefathers' to bring Africans to the American continent as slaves? Was it fair of the UN/Superpowers to carve a nation out of existing political boundaries? Is it fair for one superpower to invade another country on the premise of national security?

My point is, it's not just the Middle East, it's not just one group of humans that have risen to power/glory on the backs of their fellow man. We see it everyday in how people treat one another. And that is without bias or judgment on religion, race, creed or color.

It's also very easy to look back at decisions made from the here and now and realize where it may not have been the best decision. Hindsight is 20/20.

How many decisions that people back today may be looked back on 50 years from now as shortsighted? Who can tell? I think the important thing is to do as much as one can to make informed decisions. Which means not blindly following what you're told is right but knowing as much about yourself and the world around you to make an informed decision.

The Palestinians did not exist in their current form until the 1960's. Get this...the ones I saw celebrating were foreign soldiers who were on our soil to get trained by our military.
