Nervous about BF being denied entry

My boyfriend has a 10-year B visa, set to expire in 2020. He visited me last winter for two and a half months, POE was Miami. He had zero problems and was waved right through. He was given the full 180 days but left before 90 days were up. He has also traveled to Europe on a tourist visa over a dozen times and has never overstayed or broken any rules. He was denied entry into Europe once but has successfully visited twice since then and recently "graduated" from a six-month visa to a one-year visa. So his travel history is solid.

I was recently hit with a serious health crisis and he's booked to fly here on Sunday to help me get through it. I'm stressing about his possibly being denied entry. He has a round-trip ticket for two months, but little else to prove ties. This all came up so quickly that he didn't have a chance to get a letter from the tour agency he works at, he lives at home (therefore no lease) and while he does own land in Morocco, all the papers are in Arabic.

He's planning on bringing about 1500 USD. Once again, he will be flying into Miami. His English is very good. He recently purchased an engagement ring, but I'm worried that it will raise red flags if he gets pulled into secondary so I'm thinking of telling him not to bring it.

Any tips or advice on how he can maximize his chances of getting into the country? The thought of him not being able to be with me during this hard time is devastating and all the stories of S/Os and family members being denied entry are scary.

I doubt that he will be denied and he has a good track history of doing the right thing. Just tell him to do what he always done and be completely honest about the situation. I'm pretty sure no CBP official is that cruel. Good Luck and wishing you the best!

He will be just fine, as previous poster noted he has proved in the past that he follows the rules! All my best to you, and take care of your health, don't add stress of worrying to your plate right now.

Thanks guys. I calmed down for a few days but now I'm stressing again. He flies tomorrow. What worries me is that it seems so many people from first-world, VWP countries have problems so what's preventing a Moroccan from having problems?

He has a b visa, not VWP and a proven record of international travel... He had to overcome a lot of scrutiny to get that B visa from morocco and that is taken into account... Chin up, he should be OK...

How many millions enter every year, how few have issues?

He will be perfectly okay. I have been going in and out of the US for about 5 times because of my work..I have had issues at the POE at Atlanta (first time in the US where they gave me an I-94 of 3 months instead of the 3 and a half I was requesting..I ended up even staying longer and applied for an extension which was granted by the USCIS for an extra 3 months), the next two travels to the US I was just waived in with no questions and given 6 months each..the 4th time..a I needed to be here for 2 weeks and went through the Seattle POE..the agent sent me off to secondary questioning where they kept me for like 2 hrs..eventually gave me exactly 2 weeks as I requested..I left exactly on the day I said I would leave..next visit here, they didn't even ask me any questions and just waived me through with 6 months stay..the agent even joked that I look like Michael Irving the former NFL player (and if you've seen my photo, we are exact mirror images..over 10 people have told me that at random times lol)..

So the point is..he should just be truthful and he would be perfectly okay. Customs and border patrol guys are humans too and they think and have emotions as us..I believe it is never in any agents interest to deny someone entry after they have flown for several hrs..even though it happens, it's rare and only happens for serious issues like overstays, proof that the person is abusing the visa etc..and believe me but it's costly for the USCIS to do these.

He made it! Sent to secondary but kept his cool and made it out with 180 days!

He's SO collected and confident under pressure. I'm glad he's the one under scrutiny and not me!
