We got married last August 5,2013. We weren't able to enroll within the 60 days after our marriage on my husband's health insurance. We also weren't able to get in the open enrollment last November 2013 because we honestly forgot that there is an open enrollment. My husband's insurance is under PEBB as he works in a government hospital.

Is there another way for him to add me to his health insurance or do we have to wait for another year for the open enrollment?

Hoping for some advice as we are planning to use the health insurance as evidence with our upcoming interview this January. Thank you.

If you missed the open enrollment period, you are out of luck unless there is a qualifying life event that would enable enrollment outside of the open enrollment window.

IMO, focus on gathering other evidence in preparation for your interview since it is highly unlikely the health insurance will be available.

Is that so? Seems like there is no other qualifying life event that I know except if we have a child. Thank you for the reply. I'll focus on other evidences then. Thank you once again.
