SO confused! Call DOS?

I called USCIS today to try to get info on my case since I've heard nothing. She said my case was not there, that once I received the Notice of Action (797-C), that it was no longer in their hands and would be in the hands of DOS. This contradicts ANYTHING I've ever heard or read. She also stated that I can't call DOS. That it's not allowed unless I have info that regards the case such as an address change etc. Im trying to find out how to request to expedite my case and I feel like I just took 500 steps backwards. Can I call DOS? Should I call DOS? Is my case really even there?? I received my notice of action for my 130 in august and my notice of action for my 129f in september. And according to this woman, as soon as that happened it went straight to DOS? UGH im so confused and frustrated....help

They are going to tell you anything to get you off the phone. I suggest calling dos and giving them your uscis receipt number. They are alot nicer to deal with and yes you can call them. 1-202-485-7600. Press 1 then 0 and wait for operator

Omg. .. thanks SOOOOO much... first thing I'm doing tomorrow! I called back to speak to a different person and he wasn't much different. Its like they have no clue where my case is. I asked him how to request an expedite And instead of telling me how he proceeded to tell me how hard and a waste of time it was. Well gee thanks but that's not my question! Grr

Petitioner. . Only received the noa1 receipts for both petitions back in august

My understanding is that three months for a CR1 or a K-1 is a bit soon to panic. Most of us here (regardless of Visa requested) have experienced about a wait of at least ONE YEAR from NOA-1 to Interview date... so you should be fine for giving birth. As much as it sucks, they rarely expedite cases for pregnancies. Even High-Risk... but it never hurts to ask.

The most recent CR-1 NOA-2 with an Interview actually scheduled received the NOA-2 back in August and May with NOA-1's of January and February

Oh don't get ne wrong. I realize I have a wait and I'm not panicked about my timing. I just want to know where my case is. And when people tell you something you KNOW can't be true...ya worry lol

The second guy said the same thing...that my case isn't there. Makes no sense.

My timeline is correct. the call center people just dont make any sense. since this post ive emailed santo domingo and they (very nice people) said they do not have it and told me to email nvc. emailed them weeks ago with no response. sent an email to my congress woman also. no response yet but i know they take a lil while to get back to you.

my 130 isnt even trackable....apparently it was "never entered into the system" so it says your case cannot be found at this time blah blah blah

my 129f says my alien registration number was changed on sept 3rd due to my new 129f petition

my noa1 for the 130 is 8/2

for the 129f is 8/27 i think

ya, given yer exact calendar,

best to get a Tier 2 Human, an ISO,

and find out the exact locations on the 2 casefiles (at a minimum)...

yea..its been 5 months. I dont think it will ever be entered. Yes..the first call was tier 1...second misinformation rep was tier 2.
