hi! Okay I'm a lil' bit confused again..... Who will receive my packet 3? Is it from Manila? me or my fiancé? And it's been 3 weeks already but no packet 3 yet.... Is packet 3 same with packet 4? Oh my, i'm so confuse.

And can I take my medical this december but my interview will still be on April? I want to have my interview soon but as what the vj people keeps on telling' me Patience is a virtue..... I really miss my fiancé just like anybody else, God bless to us applicants.....

since your interview is april, best to do the medical sometime near that date. maybe 2-3 weeks before the interview since the visa validity is tied to the medical.

Forget about a packet 3 or any packet being sent to you. Everything is done online with USEM. And for sure do not sit around waiting for anything to be delivered by PhilPost... it rarely arrives.

If your interview date is in April I do not recommend doing the medical in December, the validity of the visa (expiration date) is tied to the date you take the medical, you do the medical in December and the interview in April you will have "burned" four months of the visa validity before it is even issued.

Of course there is always that lingering TB issue.

Just be aware of the visa expiration date noted on the visa.

Hank was right, forget about that packet. However, I was surprised ( I'm the petitioner) to received a 1 page- letter (not a packet) from USEM last December 6. The letter was dated Nov 22 stating that my fiance was eligible for K1 visa interview in Manila. The letter also had instructions of what my fiance needed to do like visa payment, medical, and going online (USEM website) to print/follow the "instruction packet". My fiance who are in Manila never received this letter but honestly, you don't really need it! Everything you need to follow is here at VJ's guidelines and Hank's guidelines. So, don't worry about that packet and don't confuse yourself.. you are in the right track.

You are not alone with your waiting at this stage. I think many of us got spoiled with the quick NOA2 approvals and now there is a bottleneck at NVC.

Until now, I still haven't gotten any packet 3 or 4 and my visa was already approved last month. LOL. Just like what the other members have posted, just check it online... All the best to you!
