Hello guys,

So I am starting to get things together for the next process of k1.

I am filling out the i-134 and am stuck on a question. It may be simple and I am just overthinking it, but I thought I would ask here.

Question 7.
I am employed as or engaged in the business of _______(business type)
with ________(Name of concern).....

I am a Daycare Teacher -- would that go for business type?
Also, I am confused as to what the 'name of concern' means.

I have another question :)

So you have to include w2's -- tax information amoung other documents..
I have only had this job I am currently working for since January, last year I did not file taxes due to I did not make enough money (at least thats what my tax rep said)
Also, the year before I was a Nanny and recieved private pay.
What should I do about the w2's and tax information portion of this process.

I will be using a co-sponser during this process as well.

Thank you in advance for your comments and help :)

For your first question: Yes, Daycare Teacher is fine. Or "Early Childhood Education" "Name of Concern" is the name of the business that employs you.

According to the experience of some VJers, Naples hardly ever accepts co-sponsors for K1 visas (run a quick search with the Google tool on top of this page). You might want to reconsider - get married and apply for a CR1 instead. Good luck

Yes, well, we thought that as well. My fiance emailed the Embassy in Naples a few weeks ago (beginning of October), concerned about the approval rate with petitioners having a co-sponsor. They emailed him back saying that they can assure him only 10% get denied through Naples, having a co-sponsor, and to try not to worry.

I do NOT want to reconsider at this point. I would rather wait it out,

Thank you for your input. :)
