I've had it with waiting. Just booked my flight to Pakistan to go see my Fiance! Flying in 2 weeks! w00t! Super excited! It's been a year since I've seen her (in person).

Good! I am almost to that point myself, if I dont hear anything soon, i want to take a trip there too. :(

I think your case is being worked on for sure, and the review word does mean that they are working on your file. Good sign in my opinion!

I called NVC today even though I pretty much knew what the answer would be, I did not know that there is an option 3 which connects to you someone who answers questions about your case being at an embassy, I called two times within a few minutes, the first call, the operator told me, the same, it is in administrative processing and that this was all she could see, she was like we see the same the public sees,, then I hang up and remember about the documents my husband was asked to submit after interview, which he did very quickly, so I called back to NVC to confirm that they got them, I told the operator that they dont reply to emails and I would like to confirm they indeed had received our documents, the operator goes " Well, I can login their system and check that out for you" She was like yes they got them and they were delivered via Amex, I was like yes, thats right..

If the operator could confirm how those documents were sent to the embassy, I assume she can see more but they dont tell you nothing, but I am almost certain, they know what is going with the case but dont give those details on the phone.

This has to be most frustrating experience in my life, the least we should be told how much they will take.

I love to add, I understand the frustration of the person who is given little extra time by us embassy in granting visa, but I want to submit humble submission that this is AMERICA where we to bring our love one to become a proudful, noble and humble citizen of this ' THE GREATEST COUNTRY WHERE WE HAVE ALL KIND OF FREEDOM, IF WHAT WE R GOING THROUGH IN PAKISTANI CULTURE, NOT HAPPEND, OUR LOVE ONES COULD HAVE GOOD RAPUTATION around the world. In America I m more than 23 years, belong to medical field, saw many example of family oriented love which I never saw any where in the world, if u will listen these true seen stories I will get a cry of love, how here we love children, elders, women, aond open arms of love and care for all from the world. I will request this person that be patient and pray , u know if Lord want u to breath here, the time he choose for u to live in AMERICA Lord will provide u the chance,Just be humble and be patient. I m also waiting for my wife to join me here, I on temporary total disability, injured, but praying and waiting with patiences. Let's hold the hands and for this safe haven'AMERICA ' for all of us,and be patient to wait for our love ones to join us soon......

You are wrong the United States is a very family oriented Country and it welcomes legal immigrants. For reasons unknown to us Pakistani men and women are given a difficult time getting visas. Some of it is due to marriage fraud and some of it is due to trying to keep those that would harm and kill Americans out.

Also there are lazy people at that embassy both American and Pakistani who spend their days drinking tea/coffee and not working cases. Because there is a new Ambassador and top staff they are working more cases and more visas are being issued.

Believe me when I say the embassy in Islamabad is the worse embassy in the world and I am the last one to defend them. What I am defending is my Country which I love and that allows both Christians and Muslims to live side by side in peace. We are a Country that belives in freedom. We have the right to marry or not to marry. Our Country has found that making everything against the law does not work. In Pakistan it is against the law for Muslims to drink alcohol yet I saw Pakistani males drinking it. People are people and they will drink, smoke, have babies, etc even if it means breaking legal and religious laws.

Please do not insult America or Americans based on the actions of 1 embassy.

I agree! It is our case, our information, our time, our money, but they act like its all top secret or something.

Did they ask your husband for anything else to submit??

Any updates guys ?
